I found a gray sofa / section that I like and I came across this set of libraries I really like the look of. I want to paint my walls a pale yellow with white edges from what I've heard that you should go with darker shelves cherrywood / tables, etc but I really love the look of these shelves! My question is Do you think the walls, couches, bookshelves and correspond or strange look together? If you think that would be rare, do you have any suggestions on wall color or furniture that could complement the shelves? I like things bright and flowy. My style is a little French country cottage. I think the pale butter yellow walls look great. Only be sure to add a touch of color (red, teal?) in art and accent pillows or carpet.
